Haas SL-20 & SL-30 CNC Turning Centers
Our Haas SL-30 is the largest lathe we currently run. With a 10″ Chuck and Over Front Apron measurement of 30″ we have actually ran rings with a diameter of 28″s on our SL-30. We are also running a Haas SL-20 with a 8″ Chuck.
This Haas SL-30 weighs in at over 16,000 lbs. and has the ability to hold a part weighing up to 500 lbs. while using a tail stock. With 12 tools, 30 Horsepower and a Indexing Time of 1 second (one tool), this machine is large and fast.
We regularly machine materials including: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Plastic, Tools Steels A-2, D-2, M-2, S-7, 52100, Cold Rolled Steels and Alloy Steels including 4140 and 4140 Pre-hardened material.
