Biographical Info
After graduating from Stillman Valley in 1994 I started at Rock Valley College in Rockford and attended night classes only while working full time.
After 7 years of college I obtained my Associates Degree in Business Management. I’m experienced in all aspects of machining including: manual mills, manual lathes, I.D. and O.D. grinders and surface grinders. I have extensive experience in the Programming, Setup and Operation on CNC turning centers. I have also setup and ran CNC machining centers, wire and conventional EDM’s.
My computer skills involve many years of engineering, reverse engineering, CAD drawing, IT, and website experience with Joomla and WordPress.
After years in the shop I transitioned into the office with roles in Sales, Marketing, Quoting, Job Routing, Shop Management and more.
Being active in our local community is one of my personal goals. I have coached soccer in Stillman Valley for over 8 years. I have also been working with Jefferson High School in many aspects including being a advisory member of the EMITT ( Engineering Manufacturing Industrial and Trades Technologies ).
As a licensed Private Pilot with over 500 hours of flight time I volunteered as a Skydiver Pilot with Rock River Valley Skydivers and I’m also a Certified Young Eagles Flight Leader and volunteer with the EAA.
